For over a decade, our company has been at the forefront of plant-based innovation in Crocus sativus (saffron) research and development. Our work focuses on pioneering new breeding approaches, the cultivation and agronomic refinement of saffron, and the long-term goal of developing fertile, seed-propagating saffron varieties.

Unlike traditional vegetative propagation via bulbs, our research seeks to overcome the genetic bottlenecks of sterile triploidy by applying diverse breeding methodologies, cytogenetic analysis, and advanced cultivation techniques. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong emphasis on applied plant science, we aim to unlock new potential in the reproductive biology and adaptability of saffron.

Our efforts are supported by a global network of research institutions, agronomists, and cooperative partners, enabling us to work across climatic zones and genetic backgrounds. This international cooperation allows us to test, refine, and scale innovations in saffron breeding with a view toward ecological resilience, genetic diversity, and long-term sustainability.
